Question:  How long of a wait for special order products?

Answer:  The wait for special order products is usually within 30 days, but can take up to six weeks depending on the product.  We work very close with our vendors to shorten this time.

Question:  How long of a wait for backorder items?

Answer:  It can take anywhere from a few days to a month for backorder items to be shipped.

Question:  Why do you no longer sell Messermeister products?

Answer:  Messermeister made the management decision to no longer sell its products through the Internet.  They now sell only through upscale retail shops.

Question:  Why is it that when I bookmark a product page and return later I get an "error - page not found" message?

Answer:  The most common cause is that the manufacturer changed the product number.  Try going to our product page and selecting the category you are looking for.

Question:  How secure is my personal information (name, credit card number, etc) when processing an order?

Answer:  When you go to Check Out you will notice in the upper left or right hand corner a small padlock.  This assures you that the site and the data that you are asked to enter is now safe.  The site is Security Metrics Certified  (www.securitymetrics.com) and Verisign Secured (www.Verisign.com).  They provide us with the latest security and encryption products which ensures your privacy.

Question:  Where are your products shipped from? 

Answer:   All our products are stocked and shipped from our California warehouse.

Question:  Is there a minimum order?

Answer:   There is no minimum order.

Question:  Why are the shipping costs as high as they are?

Answer:  Because of the high cost of energy, shippers are now adding a fuel surcharge for all parcels being shipped.  The faster the delivery, the higher the shipping cost will be.
